Happy Groundhog Day!

This is the result of not being able to fall back to asleep after my son woke me up at 3 in the morning.  I love it when I can turn insomnia into a productive thing.

For more Groundhog Day fun head over to Susanna Hill's blog where she is holding the Punxsutawney Phyllis's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bonanza!!!  Here is the link http://susannahill.blogspot.com/2015/02/punxsutawney-phylliss-10th-anniversary.html Unfortunately my brain creativity at 3 in the morning was not active enough to write a poem for the contest, but there are many wonderful entries by truly talented writers and illustrators you won't want to miss. Happy Birthday Phyllis!

  1. AW! That is so cute and sunshiny-looking, Heather! Phyllis and I so appreciate you taking the time... at 3 AM no less!... to make something special for her birthday! Phyllis sends you a warm furry groundhog hug and an afternoon snooze to make up for the lost sleep! Happy Groundhog Day! :)

  3. I agree with Suanna. Very sunshiny-looking. However now I hear Phil has predicted more winter. Boo! I like Phyllis' version much better.
